Sassy was rescued as a friendly stray in April of 2023.
For the past 2 years, Sassy has been in our rescue available for adoption. He has watched 200+ cats find homes while he stayed behind, hoping that next time it would finally be his turn.
Sassy was recently diagnosed with Heart worm - to date there is no approved treatment for this in cats. The infection went undetected & advanced very quickly causing fluid build up & early heart failure. Sassy has the chance to receive LIFESAVING surgery.
